Weekend Recap

Happy Monday Everyone :)

Here's a quick recap from our weekend.
Saturday was the first Saturday since we moved here that neither of us had to work or be anywhere! It was wonderful. We enjoyed puttering around the house together, mainly in the craft room/office. Saturday evening we went to the Shriner"s Indoor Fishing Tournament.
They had a good turnout of people and it was fun.
Sunday we ran errands with Vivian after eating at the Shriner's pancake breakfast.
DJ had to stop and pick his uniforms up from work so we got to see where he spends his days.

Several weeks ago we took the trailer out to Meyers Tractor Salvage to get weighed so we could register it.

There were lots of fun things out there :)

We won a bottle of wine at the Indoor Ice Fishing Tournament and Vivian won a wine basket. She also won an almost $800.00 diamond necklace with a $20.00 raffle ticket ( the last one sold even!).

There were 75 ice fishing buckets. Everyone wore a lanyard with their number on it around their neck. You were given 25 pieces of paper to write your number on and you could pick what buckets to drop your papers ("lines") in. Every little bit throughout the evening they would pick numbers out of the buckets. If your number was called then you drew a card out of a deck of cards to see how much your fish weighed. You then clipped the card to your lanyard. At 10pm whoever had the most weight won. That's the short version of the evening.

It was a great fundraiser!

This is a planter DJ's working on. It plants 54 rows at a time.
His work area.

A work in progress.

Fabric waiting to be cut and sewn into curtains.

Starting to take shape.

The view out the window.

Yeah :) It's finally coming together! It's only taken me 3 months!!
The shelves are made with brackets we had. I painted them white and made the rest from pallets DJ brought home from work. I added the little shelf so I had somewhere to store my craft paints and it's colorful :)

I brought this home from work. It's one of the products we make. If something has a flaw then we can take it home.

I can see lots of projects happening in this room :)

Burlap covered foam board. I hot glued a strand of jute string on the back to hang it with.

I saw this colorful idea on Pinterest. I am re wrapping all my floss on clothes pins then will display them in a big glass jar.

Have a wonderful week ~ Be Purposeful!
